Make Money Blogging: PayPerPost
Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 | Promote Your Blog | No Comments
Frappelattes will begin doing [related] sponsored posts via PayPerPost! PayPerPost’s blog ethics policy fits well into Frappelattes’ agenda, so it should be a welcome incorporation into this blog.
PayPerPost is an affiliate network where advertisers pay them to pay you to review their products! So no matter what you blog about (even beauty, fashion, and fitness!), PayPerPost has an opportunity for you. And, some pay very well. I have to say that I am impressed!
I look at getting paid to blog as “commission” for providing a service to my readers. I try to make sure that all topics on Frappelattes will provide readers with the latest on beauty products, fitness tips, health news, and more. Make-money-blogging methods such as PayPerPost ensure that my time spent researching and scoping for the latest dish not only satisfies you, but compensates myself as well!
Many have asked how they can begin making money blogging as well. In addition to joining PayPerPost, expect to see a detailed post soon here on Frappelattes showcasing all the programs I use to make money blogging. This will include the paid blogging networks, ad programs, and affiliate marketing tools that I use.
Hey, it pays for my Starbucks!
How To Recover After the Party
Sunday, April 20th, 2008 | Remedies | 8 Comments
With spring & summer warm weather at hand, weekend parties with friends become the norm. I’ve “partied” two weekends in a row now and seem to have recovered gracefully by Sunday morning. Whether you’re drinking Red Bull or Red Bull with vodka (or your party vice of choice…), after a night of stimulants and/or depressants wrecking havoc on your system it’s necessary to have a recovery regimen. Your body (and mood) will thank you!
How to Come Down After the Party
Drink plenty of water. If I told you to drink water on top of alcohol, caffeine, whathaveyou you probably wouldn’t do so. So please, at least drink up while you’re sobering up. Water rehydrates your system and cleanses toxins from your body. You will also look better-rested the day after.
Take your vitamins. My friends are amazed when I break out my vitamins when the party’s over! They don’t understand the benefits. Vitamins, such as fish oil pills and especially B-complex, will help your mood over the next day and metabolize your way to a speedy recovery. I take two fish oil pills and a B-complex pill over a glass of water.
Eat something. This is difficult sometimes, I know it. Even if it’s just a handful of sunflower seeds (with water), replenishing your system with good fats and protein will prevent malnutrition and help rid water weight (sunflower seeds have very little carbohydrates).
Get some rest. If you have trouble sleeping, take a melatonin pill. Melatonin is a natural chemical in your brain that triggers feelings of wellbeing and restfulness. You can get an inexpensive bottle of melatonin sleeping pills at your local drugstore.

In My Bag: Lancome Juicy Tubes Jelly
Thursday, April 17th, 2008 | Feed Favorites, Product Reviews | 2 Comments
Lancome Juicy Tubes Jelly is definitely one of those glosses with a mass cult following. What seems to be the case though is that while a vast majority love these sticky, juicy flavors of gloss, a handful of others complain that the formula is majorly drying to the lips. I happen to agree, but instead of letting that tiny negative stop me from layering the stuff on, I simply dab on some lip balm before applying Juicy Tubes. Voila.
Lancome Juicy Tubes shades and flavors are so irresistable! My favorites are Touched By Light, Simmer, and Hallucination, among many others. Some of these you’d buy just for the taste, especially the Smoothie Juicy Tubes. And the sparkling Juicy Tubes look pretty piling up in your makeup bag.
Juicy Tubes are the perfect beach bag gloss!
Skincare: Best Skin Brightening Solutions

I admit to being obsessed with purchasing brightening and clarifying skin care products. At worst, my complexion is dull with random discolorations from prior zits (my skin scars easily). Therefore, I’ve shopped the market for all sorts of skincare products that promise to brighten, soften, and clarify your skin. These are the best that I’ve found! Yes, I have used all of these and am here to report to you only the best:
Kim Kardashian Makeup Tips & Tricks

Kim Kardashian Makeup
When I’m eying any celeb, it’s not because I envy their celebrity lifestyle or necessarily advocate any of the choices they make. I’m usually dying to know who styled their ‘brows, what that gorgeous shade of eyeshadow was they were wearing (like Alicia Keys on the Tyra Show - wow!), or how they achieved such glowing skin. And, Kim Kardashian is no exception to my celeb beauty curiousity. She’s gorgeous!
Thankfully Kim and I both have a fetish for blogging beauty tips - this week at least - because lucky for the gals that love her look, Kim shared her choice beauty products on her blog!

In My Bag: MAC Beauty Powder Blush
Monday, April 14th, 2008 | Product Reviews | 2 Comments
Let’s cancel my spiel on how I don’t shop MAC very often. I believe I will start from now on. It’s high-end affordable and I love the collections they’ve been coming out with lately. When I can spend only $50 on three fabulous department store beauty items I am sold! I’m normally dropping $40 on Lancome foundation alone…
Why I really love MAC right now is their gem of a perfectly pigmented blush: MAC Beauty Powder Blush In Feeling. I love it! Most warmer pink/plum blushes look great against my skintone but have a little too much shimmer and are often too sheer. MAC Beauty Powder Blush goes on exactly as you see it in the pan, no guessing games! It has a subtle sheen and provides excellent color payoff. When I swiped this silky blush across my cheek at the MAC counter I was immediately smitten. The two great reviews I read about Beauty Powder Blush on Blogdorf Goodman and Temptalia helped as well.
If you’re looking for a silky, high-pigmented blush go and pick up MAC Beauty Powder Blush today!
