Marsadie has been blogging for over 6 years and has transitioned from having a personal site to having a informative, all-encompassing blog site geared toward fabulous females alike.

Behind the Blog

Marsadie is a 20 year old full-time student plus daytime admin assistant. Her interests include keeping fit, shopping, reading, writing, and hanging out with friends.

Marsadie first realized her passion for fashion upon watching the 1995 cult favorite movie, Clueless. The ensembles were unlike anything she’d ever seen: young, hip, and fun! Later on, her head could usually be found inside the pages of teen fashion and beauty magazines or perusing gURL.com for teenage girl guides to living. gURLpages.com is what sparked Marsadie’s interest in web design, and she created her first webpage and - who knew - advice column under the alias, smartypantz.

When Marsadie was allowed to wear lip gloss at 14 and finally a full-on face at 15, the rest was history. Her cosmetic taste started with high-end brands such as Prescriptives and Clinique, and it was hard to turn back from there. Although she had a stint working as a beauty advisor for a popular drugstore - in which she learned to expertly choose foundation shades through sealed packaging and namedrop her favorite beauty products to inquisitive women - she soon ‘graduated’ to managing a high end department store makeup counter. Marsadie had never known such stress in her life, but she did leave with tons of valuable tips, tricks, and across-the-board product knowledge. She’s tried it all!
