Barex Shampoo & Conditioner Review (by Janine)
The first thing I noticed about Barex products was the adorable packaging. The 3.05 oz bottles ($10, each) have secure tops and are ideal for travel or home shower. AETÓ Botanica Bamboo & Yucca Shampoo smells lightly earthy and the Bamboo & Wild Mango Fortifying Mask is a more intense, pleasant natural scent.

My favorite product was Barex Italiana Gloss Conditioner. My hair went through a few lightening phases lately, which can do a lot of damage and make combing and styling difficult. After use of the Gloss Conditioner, I was not only able to get my fingers through my wet hair with ease, but a thin-toothed comb. I definitely recommend this conditioner for processed and color treated hair – mine has never looked or felt better.
Barex Italiana also makes a Colourlife line specifically for colored hair, and I can only imagine how great that works. Colored hair needs special treatment, especially some of the semi-permanent hues I’m a fan of.
There are $10-52 bottles available in various sizes –- 3.05, 8.45, 33.8 — and Barex also has gift sets priced at $55-93.
