Try a Smoky Cat Eye, Nude Lip Look for Under $30

February 10th, 2010 // Makeup Looks

In my opinion, there’s nothing sexier than a soft smoky eye look with winged eyeliner and a glossy nude lip. What’s even better is finding the main components of this look — a light/dark eyeshadow duo, black eyeliner, and nude lip gloss — for under $30!

For this look I used all L’Oreal products:

  • L’Oreal HIP eyeshadow duo in Dashing (soft pink/smoky black)
  • L’Oreal HIP Color Chrome Eyeliner in Black Shock (sparkly black)
  • L’Oreal Infallible Plumping Lip Gloss in Plumped Pink

All three products have impressive staying power and make for a super pretty look!

NARS 15th Anniversary Wild At Heart Palette

February 2nd, 2010 // Eyeshadow, Makeup Looks

Lip shades included are Baby Doll Lip Lacquer (what I’m wearing in the photo below), Red Lezard lipstick, Manhunt lipstick, and Fire Down Below lipstick. Shadows include Abyssinia, Alhambra, Ashes to Ashes, and Pandora.

My Favorite Winter Blush: Black Radiance Plum Sorbet

January 27th, 2010 // Beauty Diary, Blush, Makeup

I’m deeply in love with wearing Black Radiance Plum Sorbet blush during the winter. Last year, while on quest for a perfect red-berry blush, I incidentally found this gem. Perhaps the best thing is that it’s only $3.99 at mass retailers (I came across Plum Sorbet at Walmart).
