Heidi Klum Makeup Tips

• Mix a dab of Prescriptives Magic Illuminating Liquid Potion with your favorite sheer foundation, then apply all over your face. For eyes, brush Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Polyester Bride below the crease across the entire lid, then blend a bit on your lower lid as well. Finish off the eyes with generous coats of Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara. For cheeks, lightly sweep NARS Blush in Deep Throat onto your cheekbones. Generously apply NARS Sabrina Lip Balm onto your lips for a sheer, pinky, shimmery lip look that leaves lips soft and stays put longer than lip gloss.

FOTD: My Makeup Look This Week (Tropical)

For this look I used CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Palette in Tropical Fusion. I’m not sure how well this look translates on camera, but it looks fierce in real life! Normally I’m timid about not using a black or brown in the crease, but I think this “fusion” of shades makes this eye look simply fun to look at.

Eyes

• Inner corner: Light green from CG Tropical Fusion Palette
• Lid: Orange from CG Tropical Fusion Palette
• Crease: Dark green from CG Tropical Fusion Palette
• Outer Corner: Dark blue from CG Tropical Fusion Palette

• Mascara: 2 coats CoverGirl Lash Blast, 1 coat Maybelline Lash Stiletto

Face

Summer Makeup Look: Subtle Shimmer

How do you pull off a beautiful makeup look for the Summer without looking like you tried too hard (and are sweating through it) but  without looking like you just fell out of bed? Easy: add a little shimmer! Adding shimmer to your eyes, lips, and face gives you an ethereal glow that catches the light so perfectly from the sun, yet it appears totally effortless. In fact, it is effortless to achieve this look! All you need is a sheer, shimmery eyeshadow in a nude shade and a great highlighter for face & body. Finish it off with a dab of glimmery lip gloss and you’re good to go for beach and sun!

Tips & Tricks:

If you choose a shimmery eyeshadow that matches your skintone, you can use it over your entire eyelid and simply finish with mascara. To transform the look to night, add a bit of dark, matte eyeshadow to the crease of your eye for depth.

To add a natural-looking glow to your face, mix a dab of golden shimmer lotion or highlighter (like Prescriptives ‘Magic’ Illuminating Liquid Potion with your favorite facial moisturizer, then apply. For body, try an all-in-one product such as Victoria’s Secret Supermodel Shimmering Body Lotion.
