Best Longwear Red Lip Colors for Fall

Red is the total IT shade for fall -  whether by handbag, a pair of suede pumps, a 40′s-inspired high-rise pencil skirt… Or, of a great, longwear lip color. FOTD: Dramatic Eyes With Nachos & Salsa

This FOTD is actually from last night when a friend & I went to our favorite Mexican joint, Cazuela’s. It gets pretty busy there with loads of college kids cluttering the patio (with lots of alcohol of course) so it’s one of those scenes where fun, dramatic eyes fit right in. For this face I used:

• Eyes: Fashion Fair 3-in-1 Gloss in Bombshell (color base), MAC eyeshadow in Post Haste (the hot pink lid shade), Chanel eyeshadow in Sunlit Gold (inner corner, brow highlight), and Stila 24kt Smudge Pot in Golden Noir (crease, liner). I applied two coats of L’Oreal Extra Volume Collagen mascara.
• Cheeks: Lancome blush in Shimmer Coral Sunset
• Lips: Sephora brand gloss in Precious Pink (which I swear seems to having a plumping effect…) over Revlon Super Lustrous gloss in Life’s a Peach

I always leave Cazuela’s with loads of leftovers, which always taste just as amazing the next day! Yummm. I’m so ready for lunch. Boyfriend & I are going to finish off these chips & salsa and mix of ceviche & puerto de vallarta (I do not know what those words translate to and always butcher their pronunciation, but it’s fish and shrimp mixed into other tasty tidbits).
