Rimmel Volume Booster Plumping Lip Gloss (Best of Drugstore!)

Rimmel Volume Booster plumping lip gloss boasts “up to 40% fuller lips with a collagen effect” and “starts to work when the tingling begins.” (emphasis mine).

I picked this up on a whim because of the sparkles and pretty color (I chose Volume Booster in “Attract”). The wand has a brush tip and the formula goes on smooth and creamy. I liken the look and texture to MAC Lustreglass. It left my lips looking full, glimmering, and shiny. The formula did begin to tingle my lips, which feels pretty cool. Whether or not this gloss actually “plumps” I will not say… What I will say is that any gloss with this much shine and sparkle will make your lips appear fuller.

Verdict: I like Rimmel Volume Booster gloss for the look, feel, and pleasant smell. The shine gives your lips a fuller look, and for the price ($5) you get what you pay for. Great gloss!

NARS Female Trouble Lip Gloss Review

One word: Love. LOVE.

Female Trouble is a dusty pink rose gloss with the same thick consistency as the other shades in NARS’ gloss collection (except for the Stains) and a fragrance-free formula. While I don’t like the fragrance-free taste of NARS gloss, Female Trouble is the perfect pink for me. Not too frosty. Not too dark. Just, love.

NARS Sunset Strip Lip Gloss Review & More

I was playing around with my webcam last Friday and did a little product review video of both NARS Sunset Strip lip gloss and Philosophy Mimosa Flavored Lip Shine. A couple things I forgot to add about NARS Gloss is that it is long-lasting, doesn’t have an overpowering taste, and isn’t too drying. These are lovely qualities about any lip gloss, and NARS delivers for a sexy lip look!

Also on my wish list is NARS Body Glow shimmering body oil. Omigah. It smells so chocolately? delicious on the skin and the shimmery glow is fantastic. It’s perfect for shoulders, arms, legs, and any place else you want a decadent glow. I tested it out in Sephora and fell in love. If you get the chance to buy this before I do, I just want you to know that I am jealous! But, I will undoubtedly get my hands on it again soon.
