I love models like Katie Price Jordan with their doll-faced makeup looks. Something about ridiculously plush eyelashes, pouty pink lips (my signature!), and peachy cheeks makes me opt for this type of look over and over again. What I love most about the eyes here is that Katie’s false lashes are so long and spidery that there is no need for eyeshadow! This makes it a dramatic eye look that is suitable for day wear.

I love how this dress compliments Heidi Montag‘s long stems, because mine are as well but I have a heck of a time finding a dress that flatters my legs. The softer, thicker material material, in addition to ruffles and a higher neckline, make this dress very pretty and more ladylike than typical dresses of this length. Heidi’s brown patent snakeskin booties are to-die-for, although I probably wouldn’t have paired them with this dress. Somehow she makes it work. I would have also gone for a darker handbag for the season and to match her shoes better, perhaps one of Balenciaga’s cranberry or plum hued bags.
Brr, it’s getting a bit chilly outside! How lovely it must feel to spend autumn in southern California where the weather is fair and you can wear a short dress such as Heidi does and get away with it.

Many of us have now seen the YouTube clip, at least, of Katy Perry falling down at the 2008 MTV Latin Awards Show. As embarrassing as it may have been (though it looked like she had lots of fun) — Katy, you’re still adorable!
Saturday night giggles.

Fall 2008 fashion checklist:
But, in all black, and all together, is this look too much on the eyes? For me, it’s all about balance.
Love, love this look. I love poncho sweaters. I love anything sheer (afterall, it’s not cold outside — yet). I love off-the-shoulder looks. And, the bootcut pants and peeptoe platforms are a favorite combination of mine for fall.

Time for me to hit up a Victoria’s Secret catalog to nab myself a similar top (it’s where I got mine last fall).
I’m finally getting excited about fall fashion!
