May 19th, 2010 // Girl Gadgets

I love listening to electronic music all day while I work and play so naturally I’m digging these these trendy new headphones found at Urban Outfitters.

Urbanears Platton Headphones come in a range of colors (I’m loving the seafoam-green-esque shade pictured sixth below) and has the classic look that makes us reminisce of days past before the invent of teeny earbuds. The sizing is adjustable and the headphones fold down to around fist-size for easy portability. The Platton Headphones even have an extra plug on the earbud for a friend to plug in their own headphones and tune into what you’re listening to. “You have to hear this sick bassline…”

Dell Meets OPI for Lacquered Notebook Designs

October 16th, 2009 // Girl Gadgets

Now, I love when tech meets beauty. Especially considering the fact that I could theoretically match my laptop to my manicure – that is, if I painted my nails in, say, Rosy Future or Strawberry Margarita from OPI’s Nail Lacquer collection after purchasing one of Dell’s new laptop designs in that shade.

Girl Tech: Pink Casio Exilim Zoom (EX-Z300)

January 6th, 2009 // Girl Gadgets

Casio EX-Z300 digital camera This Casio EX-Z300 digital camera caught my eye while flipping through the pages of my favorite magazine a couple weeks ago. The first reason it caught my eye is because it is pink. I love pink, obviously! But, this baby is also a 10 megapixel cam. 10 megapixels! The camera I currently own is only 7mp. With 10 megapixels, pictures of friends and scenes, even on a dark night, come out beautifully. With 10 megapixels, you could certainly see my pores in a closeup shot for a makeup FOTD. Not only that, but this camera even has a “makeup” button!

The makeup button on the Casio EX-Z300 features a twelve-step function that corrects lighting and shadows on your subjects face and even smooths the skin. This camera also corrects over- and under-exposure in pictures.

I consider this camera a girl’s dream. It can capture all those special moments in life (as well as produce great digital photos of all your best makeup looks).

The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z300 is available on Amazon for less than $300.

Girl Gadgetry: [Pink] Revolver Blowdryer

September 24th, 2007 // Girl Gadgets

How ‘killer’ is this revolver hairdryer??

It’s pink, which is rad, but I don’t know if I could get over the fact that I’d be scared to pull the trigger every time I blow out my hair!

I just know that Alesha would love this.
