Start Married Life With Cosmetic Surgery
For many women, preparing for a wedding takes weeks, months – even years – of planning. And for increasing numbers, this process could soon include having the cosmetic surgery that will make all the difference on the big day – and the life beyond.
Recent figures from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) showed that the number of cosmetic procedures taking place in the UK every year is soaring, with surgical procedures such as boob jobs, liposuction and facelifts recording notable rises. According to the data, there were almost 40,000 procedures in the UK in 2010, a rise of five per cent compared to the previous year’s figures. Boob jobs in particular recorded a ten per cent rise, while facelifts also made steady progress. These days, going under the knife is becoming more and more commonplace – and much of stigma attached to surgery is disappearing.
As reality TV shows such as Bridalplasty have shown, having surgery in the build up to a wedding is an idea many brides-to-be are considering. And in many ways, it’s the perfect time for a woman to think about the person she wants to be for the rest of her life and the ways this can be achieved. If you’ve always dreamed of wearing a gorgeous busty dress or correcting your crooked nose, the months before your nuptials could offer ample opportunities for going under the knife.
For most women, confidence and body image are intrinsically linked – and we all have problem areas we’d like to sort out. Although some areas – such as boobs, bums and arms – are there for all to see, others could be more personal, such as overactive sweat glands or even more intimate areas. From labiaplasties (the treatment used to get a ‘designer vagina’) to Botox injections to treat excessive sweating, there are a range of treatment options worth exploring. Surely for many women, there’s no more blissful thought that striding down the aisle with confidence, showing off the perfect body in a beautiful dress, ready to start the rest of your life with the man you love.
And when it comes to revealing the results of your chosen cosmetic surgery to your other half, when better than the most passionate night of your life immediately after the ceremony? When you’re in a couple, your bodies are to be shared – and there may be no better way to send your hubbie wild on your wedding night than a new pair of boobs!

I have a love/love relationship with Korres Lip Butter ($9) and here’s why: it looks great alone or layered under any other lip product, it doubles as a cheek tint, and it thoroughly moisturizes and babies lips.
