Start Married Life With Cosmetic Surgery

    May 9th, 2011 // Sponsored, Uncategorized

For many women, preparing for a wedding takes weeks, months – even years – of planning. And for increasing numbers, this process could soon include having the cosmetic surgery that will make all the difference on the big day – and the life beyond.

Recent figures from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) showed that the number of cosmetic procedures taking place in the UK every year is soaring, with surgical procedures such as boob jobs, liposuction and facelifts recording notable rises. According to the data, there were almost 40,000 procedures in the UK in 2010, a rise of five per cent compared to the previous year’s figures. Boob jobs in particular recorded a ten per cent rise, while facelifts also made steady progress. These days, going under the knife is becoming more and more commonplace – and much of stigma attached to surgery is disappearing.

As reality TV shows such as Bridalplasty have shown, having surgery in the build up to a wedding is an idea many brides-to-be are considering. And in many ways, it’s the perfect time for a woman to think about the person she wants to be for the rest of her life and the ways this can be achieved. If you’ve always dreamed of wearing a gorgeous busty dress or correcting your crooked nose, the months before your nuptials could offer ample opportunities for going under the knife.

For most women, confidence and body image are intrinsically linked – and we all have problem areas we’d like to sort out. Although some areas – such as boobs, bums and arms – are there for all to see, others could be more personal, such as overactive sweat glands or even more intimate areas. From labiaplasties (the treatment used to get a ‘designer vagina’) to Botox injections to treat excessive sweating, there are a range of treatment options worth exploring. Surely for many women, there’s no more blissful thought that striding down the aisle with confidence, showing off the perfect body in a beautiful dress, ready to start the rest of your life with the man you love.

And when it comes to revealing the results of your chosen cosmetic surgery to your other half, when better than the most passionate night of your life immediately after the ceremony? When you’re in a couple, your bodies are to be shared – and there may be no better way to send your hubbie wild on your wedding night than a new pair of boobs!

Controversies in Dieting: Addicted to Lypoplasty

    November 24th, 2010 // Fitness, Sponsored

In the society we live in today there are many that struggle to keep their bodies and health in shape. Exercise, diets, weight loss pills and Lypoplasty, also known as liposuction, are all part of an average persons idea of ways to get rid of unwanted weight. People would love to know how it feels to have either an amazing body or just to know what it’s like to be average weight. Lipo surgery can be done in various parts of the body such as buttocks, stomach, sides, thighs and arm liposuction. Arm liposuction is done when a person feels they cannot get rid of the excess fat in the arms by weight lifting, dieting, etc. Lypoplasty helps those get started on keeping their figure trim by removing extra fat but some take it to the extremes and want to be able to eat everything and still stay thin by spending thousands of dollars on Lipo surgery and not exercise or diet.

Liposuction is a very unhealthy lifestyle to live if surgery is requested more often than should. Those that are addicted to lipo often gain back their weight because they do not want to stay on diet and exercise routines and would love to sit and watch TV and eat junk food.

Celebrities are known to spend the most time and money on liposuction because they want to keep that image of perfection and beauty and stay in spotlight for their fans and fame. Unfortunately many patients of this surgery have had complications when having the surgery leading to unwanted scars, extra skin, lumps/bumps, and possible infections that rarely are fatal. Many people who are addicted to this type of surgery deny any type of addiction but to close friends and family there are obvious signs.

Being addicted to lypoplasty can open the doors to an addiction to all cosmetic or plastic surgery which can then lead to an unrecognizable person to yourself, friends and family. It can also lead to debt, stress and problems in relationships. If you’re curious, you can check out the savings-depleting procedures at Liposuctioncost.com.

So the next time you, a friend or relative think about getting this type of surgery done, speak with your doctor and keep in mind all they say about how to keep your body fit and think about all the consequences that follow the procedure. Is it really worth it or are you better off with diet and exercise in your daily activities?

Korres Lip Butter Indulgence (Plus 30% Off Online Purchases)

    November 25th, 2009 // Lip Balm, Promos

korres-jasmine-lip-butter I have a love/love relationship with Korres Lip Butter ($9) and here’s why: it looks great alone or layered under any other lip product, it doubles as a cheek tint, and it thoroughly moisturizes and babies lips.

Korres Lip Butter / Lip & Cheek Tint

Ultimate lip treatment with intensely hydrating formulas, packed with a juicy pop of color. A buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted finish. The combination of shea butter and rice wax offers deep hydration and softness. Ideal for chapped lips.

My favorite shades are Jasmine and Guava and both look great worn as “highlighters” on the tops of your cheekbones for a sheer glow. Also available are Pomegranate, Quince, Plum, Wild Rose, and Mango.

I’m addicted to these little pots and they last forever, so $9 is hardly a splurge for such a treat.

Lucky for us, Korres is offering readers of my beauty blog a 30% discount on web purchases for the holiday season! So, stock up on Lip Butter, gift sets, or whatever else you or another beauty junkie in your life needs with this 30% off coupon code at checkout: FRAPPELATTES
