VH1 “Single Ladies” Photo Contest
Are you spicy, classy, sexy and bold like the women of VH1’s new hit show Single Ladies? Do you and your friends love going out on the town and having an amazing time? Do you wanna win a contest, or what? We’re dishing out the best ways to get more votes in VH1’s Single and Liking it photo contest.
VH1 created the “Single and Liking It” photo contest on Facebook to promote its new show Single Ladies. The show premiered May 30 with more than 2.8 million viewers. Check out the show and start voting to win the hottest contest of the summer.
Hit the photo contest tab on the Single Ladies Facebook page and submit a pic of yourself out on the town with your BFFs. Rally all of your friends and get them to vote on your photo by hitting the pink “Like it” button. The photo with the most votes snags the massive NYC prize pack which includes a $10,000 shopping spree for you and three friends.

Find your entry and hit the share button. You have plenty of options to encourage people to vote for your awesome pic.
Facebook: here’s what you can do to get the most votes
- Share your submission on your Wall. This puts your photo in your newsfeed and your friends’ newsfeeds. Get friends to to click the link back the contest and like your photo
- Super tip — you can share on your wall, on a friend’s Wall in a group, and in a private message. Now that’s a lot of sharing.
Email: call in all those favors.
- Write an email with your photo link to everyone who owes you a favor — your besties, your co-workers, your family and friends. Ask everyone to vote daily and follow up to make sure they do.
- Do a final email push towards the end the the contest.
Twitter: tweet your way to the top.
- Post your link to Twitter daily and encourage your followers to RT and to click the link and Like your submission daily.
- @Mention friends, urging them to vote for you.
- Super tip — include the link to your submission on your Twitter’s one line bio.
Digg, Delicious and Stumble Upon
If you’re really ready to use the Internet to your advantage, Digg, Delicious and Stumble Upon are bookmarking sites where users share stories. Create an account and start a reading riot. Post the link to your photo and encourage fellow users to click it to vote.
The contest ends June 22, 2011 so there is still time to submit a photo and vote it to the top. The person with the most votes wins the ultimate trip NYC which includes:
