Products that go on your underarms aren’t generally the ones you rave about, but when I received Clarsskin Underarm Cleanser ($22) to try, I was genuinely excited.
I guarantee armpits are something most women do think about. Deodorants/anti-perspirants leave a waxy buildup that worsens underarm bumps and makes shaving difficult. This deodorant residue also contains metals that can yellow your clothing.
I found Clarsskin Underarm Cleanser to be better than any soap or cream for getting a smooth shave. A quick foam removes residue (including metal salts left by deodorants) from under arms, and it feels more like a great face wash than body soap. The cleanser retails at $22, but one 4oz bottle can last up to a year.
As silly as it sounds, there is something about using an underarm cleanser that makes you feel really spoiled and pampered. Using it in the shower before bed feels great and removes the sticky deodorant clogging your pores. While it is recommended that you continue use of your normal deodorant while using this product, I’ve found that while using Clarsskin, I can get away with less, or even no deodorant, depending on what I’m up to.

this is super interesting, i was just thinking about all of the “build-up” because i have crazy sensitive skin. i’ll have to give this product a try, thanks for the update!
Wow, this is a bit pricey for a cleanser… i never had problems with washing my pits with soap and water as long as I do it every night before I go to bed
