Frappelattes’ Favorite Fall 2008 Makeup Trends
It’s about that time when I’ve reluctantly accepted that fall is right around the corner and it is time to switch up my makeup bag. I am a follower of trends by nature, but I have to adapt them to my personal liking. For example, red and berry lips are hot for fall 2008, but so not hot on me! Here some fall 2008 makeup trends (according to Harper’s Bazaar) that I’m hot about:
- Fall 2008 Smoky Eyes
- Fall 2008 Nude Makeup
- Fall 2008 Cat Eyes
- My love for smoky eyes in fall (and all year ’round) will never die. I turn to Lancome Statuesque eyeshadow for a matte black-out effect and amp it up with a few coats of Lash Blast or Rilastil Volumizing mascara.
- I have an all or next-to-nothing approach to wearing makeup, so barely there nudes such as my tube of Revlon Shiny Sheers lip color in Sheer Honey Drizzle will reappear in my makeup bag next to my eyelash curler and RAW Natural Beauty Mineral Glow to highlight my skin.
- The cat eye is a makeup trend for fall 2008 as well as a classic and a personal favorite of mine. I wrote an article recently on how to do cat eye makeup using Lancome Artliner or Wet ‘n Wild liquid eyeliner.

I need an eyelash curler. Tossed mine when we moved apartments and *still* haven’t replaced it.
When will the cat eye go out? I am hoping never. I suppose we have until all of the college girls start wearing it, which I don’t think is happening anytime soon where I live anyway.
I always thought I hated the nude look, but I’ve been using just my mineral foundation and a smudge of eyeliner under my lower lashes and loving it. Convert right here!
Commented - now time to Stumble ya!
I want to try the cat eyes! I love the look but haven’t attempted it yet because I suck at using liquid eyeliner.
I love all of those fall looks too! They are just classic beautiful looks that will hopefully never go out of style!
