1st Annual Total Beauty Blog Summit Los Angeles
So, I am back from the Total Beauty First Annual Blog Summit (5/16–5/18) and I must say that I (as well as the rest of the Summit attendees) had a phenomenal time overall! Total Beauty is an awesome community to be a part of and I’m extremely grateful that I was able to take part in this tremendous event. Meeting so many fab beauty bloggers in one setting was a wonderful experience. Go and join Total Beauty today for the latest in beauty guides and start posting your product reviews!

I missed the LA Beauty Tour ( 
! ) but was able to attend the opening reception/cocktail party Friday night 5/16.
Myself and Kia (Yummy 411) in the shuttle on the way to the reception. We had such a blast that day! Shopping, food, smoothies. There is also a glimpse of Delphine (Steeping Beauty) to the right. Wish I could have captured her beautiful smile!

Saturday was a day full of beauty banter including presentations by some of the hottest new beauty brands including RedPoint, Raw Natural Minerals, and Lisa Hoffman Cosmetics to introduce their lines. There were also guest appearances made by Dr. Alan Hirsch (world-renowned neurologist and expert of taste/smell relationships), Frederick Fekkai via video welcome (Fekkai: “[Total Beauty] is perhaps better than Wikipedia! …I wanted to be a blogger myself, maybe I should start” hehe), and LA hairstylist known only as “Dusty” who performed three makeovers on three lucky bloggers during the event. Dusty was brilliant to see in action! Look out for his reality TV show “Making The Cut”.
And, ohhh… the swag bags. We were all totally spoiled by both Total Beauty and Intelligent Beauty sponsoring brands.
On Saturday night, the beauty bloggers were welcomed VIP style to Air Conditioned Bar Venice, CA. I was able to chat up fellow bloggers including Amber (Beauty Blogging Junkie), Paul (techie behind Beauty Beauty Basics), and Monique (Beauty Girl Musings). We all had a fabulous time!
During brunch on Sunday, I sat with Phyllis (Makeup For Life — she’s such a sweetheart!), Alison (Advice Sisters), Cailin (The Beauty Bunny), and Agostina (celebrity makeup artist, Makeup 2 Beauty). Brunch at the Ayres Hotel was delish and it was great to have one-on-one time with some newer faces (to me).
All in all, I had an amazing time at the TB First Annual Beauty Blogger Summit. Los Angeles was a perfect place to be and Total Beauty / Intelligent Beauty LLC coordinated everything extremely well for the bloggers and beauty brands. Thumbs up to TB/IB teams and all the beauty bloggers for such a successful event!
