Going away to college is hard on the parents, too
Guest post written by Jerry Malcom
There’s all this talk about how it’s going to be so tough on your kids for them to go away from college and really be away from home for the first time. But I’m not really sure who’s feeding all these parents this propaganda. It surely isn’t anyone whose kids have been in or are in college right now. My son is going off to college in a week and I think that he hasn’t been more excited about anything in his entire life. Nothing may top this for him ever, either.
I went online to try and find some advice on how to deal with this, because his excitement is making it a little tougher on me. When I was looking through some blogs about it, I ran across the siteĀ WirelessinternetPROVIDERS.net. I glanced over it and after I looked through it some, I decided to change over my home internet service to it.
Although, going to hisĀ freshman orientation with him helped a little. I saw how he was going to fit in college life and my excitement for him outweighed my sadness for him moving out.
