I’ve been working overtime lately to achieve my year-end goals as an online marketer and web developer. I feel like I’m getting, like…no sleep. But I’m like a machine! I can’t stop. Secretly, I love it. But, my skin didn’t for a while, and I was starting to break out something terrible. It was gross. Nothing I was doing — popping fish oil caps like it was my job or washing my face three times a day — was helping. After switching up my skincare routine, however, my face is back to its happy self. I owe it to a few skincare products, which I will be reviewing here soon, but I want to give spotlight to a serum I have been using and loving lately.
Skincare serums are my favorite beauty indulgence, hands down. I mean, if you’ve ever tried Lancome’s Sensation Totale serum…or Chanel’s Hydramax+ serum…or Origins “A Perfect World” serum…I could go on, but either of those should rest my case.
The serum I’ve been using as of late, though, is of a lesser-known but still-luxury brand, Hard Night Good Morning by D’Andra Simmons.
I love product information sheets, so I’ll let you read up on the deets of a totally luxe facial “cocktail” – Hard Night Good Morning’s A Facial Cocktail serum:
Our cutting-edge aloe vera-based solution for aging skin is power-packed with superior ingredients including a host of actives and a proprietary blend of botanical extracts. Our facial serum has been clinically tested to show a 51% reduction in the skin’s wrinkled surface in just one application! This revolutionary formula includes Gatuline® In-tense to firm and smooth the skin, Gatuline® Expression to reduce wrinkles and smooth expression lines by immediately limiting micro-contractions that create and aggravate facial wrinkles, and Osilift® to immediately lift and enhance skin texture for flawless makeup application. Results are both immediate and long term.
At lunch, my bestie complimented me on how great my skin looked today. I’d even skipped foundation. I was in total agreement, though, no lie, because my skin has been totally glowing an radiant since using Facial Cocktail serum for a week — though results are seen upon first application.
I can’t get enough of this stuff. Along with the glow and radiance I get from using just a dime-sized amount, my skin feels tight, smooth-to-the-touch, and lightly hydrated. I think I’m mostly addicted to how my skin looks immediately after application (that lasts throughout the day) and to the smell. It’s a total aloe-laced luxury experience.
Along with aloe, A Facial Cocktail contains acai, rooibos, and hyaluronic acid. So, despite a long night, you can fake a full-night’s sleep with this serum’s rejuvenating benefits for your face.
With HNGM’s current 50% discount, A Facial Cocktail serum can be purchased for $77.50 per 1oz bottle. If skincare is important to you and you can afford to splurge, this is a worthy beauty buy in my book. Especially if your motto is, “Work hard, play harder,” Hard Night Good Morning’s Facial Cocktail serum may be a perfect addition to your beauty cabinet.
