HoMedics Restore Clean Water System for Purer Drinking Water
I can’t be bothered with crowded gyms or diet pills, so to kick off my “fit body” resolution for the year, I decided to drink more water.
It’s easily forgotten how drinking copious amounts of water (up to 100 ounces per day) can do for your body: feeling better-rested, more energized, heightened mental focus, less water retention, and so much more.
Being that tap water leaves a bitter taste in my palate and bottled water seems so wasteful, an at-home water filtering and purification system is ideal. I use HoMedics Restore Clean Water System.

This water pitcher comes with an initial filter and an attachment that plugs into the wall with all your control buttons. I love that the press of a button on the wall unit retracts the power cord after use, thus never lending to kitchen counter clutter. Essentially, after placing the filter and plugging in the unit, you fill the top of the pitcher with water, wait for it to filter, choose the amount of cups that will be consumed per day in your household, then press Purify. Now, watch the pitcher light up; it’s pretty!
The filter process reduces heavy metals, smell & taste (chlorine), and industrial/agricultural pollutants from your tap water. The purification process uses UV technology (the light-up part) to purify and remove 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.99% of viruses, and 99.95% of microbial cysts from your tap water.
Now that I’m aware of what can actually be found in tap water, I’m even less inclined to drink it as-is. Not to mention, filtered and purified water tastes as it should: like nothing.
The lowest price I’ve found for HoMedics Restore Clean Water System online is $79.92 at QVC.com. $1.54 per week (not counting the cost of energy or filter replacement) is a small price to pay, in my opinion, for clean drinking water.
