Korres Silicone-Free Makeup Primer Review (Hyperpigmentation Series)
Though some have deemed makeup primers as non-essential, I’ve found that my makeup just does not last without one. My favorite primer is Korres Silicone-Free Makeup Primer with Vitamin E.
Korres Silicone-Free Primer is 99% natural and is supposed to perfect pores, fill in lines and wrinkles, and soothe the skin in general.

I started using this religiously when I went on vacation. The change in climate demanded that I switch up my skincare routine, and including makeup primer in my regimen became a must. I used this primer as my moisturizer, which was suitable for my oily skin in dry weather. This particular primer is love for me because it leaves my skin with a natural finish, keeps my foundation in tact all day, and doesn’t contain any icky pore-clogging ingredients.

What I began to notice, also, was that the longer I used this primer, the more my hyperpigmentation improved. It must be the Vitamin E! Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps to reduce the color in hyperpigmentation. The primer also contains fruit oils like grapefruit, which I’m convinced is helping my skin stay clear of breakouts in general. Grapefruit oil is antimicrobial, which means that it kills any bacteria that may lead to acne.
