L’Oreal Paris Bare Naturale Mineral-Enriched Mascara gives a naturally lush look to the lashes. 86% of the ingredients are of natural origins including jojoba oil, aloe, and vitamin E. This mineral mascara is also hypoallergenic, is paraben-free, and contains no fibers.
So, how does it deliver?
Pros: Bare Naturale gives a lightweight, 100% clump-free lash look with no drying ingredients or brittleness as seen in most drugstore mascaras. It’s perfect for your low-maintenance “lipgloss and mascara” makeup days.
Cons: It is simply not volumizing or lengthening enough for my taste. If you have long lashes already, this mascara may be perfect for you. What a shame, as L’Oreal’s Bare Naturale mascara ad with Penelope Cruz suggests that you’ll get lashes just like hers (which are apparently false eyelashes, as in most mascara ads).

Without even reading the review and just looking at the before & after at first.. I was just about to say it looks good for those low maintenance days.
It seems like everyone is putting minerals into their products, or just focusing on the fact that their product is “mineral based”, etc. I love the packaging, but if it doesn’t make my lashes long enough, then it’s not worth it to me.
i have this. the brush is really, really soft and i like it. but the look is mostly natural, i agree that the cruz ad is misleading.

Tried this product, it’s terrible. Mine clumps like crazy and then I’m left trying to get my lashes unstuck from one another. Even trying to apply it very lightly, it still clumped like crazy. Quite possibly the worst mascara I have ever used.
the whole point of the “bare naturale” mascara is to give off that “natural” look. not some special day long-lashed look. the name represents what its for. it wouldnt be called “natural’ for nothing. i happen to like the product because i like to keep a more natural look. most mascaras i use tend to clump and get hard. Bare Naturale on the other hand, leaves my lashes feeling soft and clump free.
i just bought one today. I absoloutely love it. i have non-existant asian eye-lashes, but when i tried on this mascara i found that u could layer it and layer it to the volume and length you want. The first coat of mascara wasn’t bad, it didn’t have the volume that i wanted but i put on 3 layers and it looks great :] it still looked pretty natural and it was completely clump-free. I would really recommend this mascara for those who like the more natural look. i would go with some other mascara for dramatic eyes though X]
I think it’s much more convenient to use false eyelashes to get the looks that you want. Like my eyelashes, it’s just so small and thin and need to use false one. Then I’ll put one brush of this mascara and looks contented with the outcome with my mac cosmetics sale that I’m using right now.
Her eyes look beautiful…
