New in Beauty: R&R Gel Eyeliner & Bobbi Brown Cheek Tint

rock-republic-eyeliner Rock & Republic “Bound” Eyeliner

For a most rockin’ sooty eye makeup look, swoop up Rock & Republic’s “Bound” Gel eyeliner ($24) in Razor (for a glam, shimmery black line) or Smut (for a more demure, matte look). Draw on a cat eye for day and then smudge it up with your finger for a hot nighttime smoky eye.

I am obsessed with cheek tints. The lightweight formula allows skin to breath, and the creamy texture blends better than powder blush while leaving your skin with a more dewy glow. Cheek tints are tres appropriate for Spring and Summer. Bobbi Brown’s Sheer Color Cheek Tint ($22)icon comes in six translucent shades and is a fore running cream blush this season.

Yay for Vacay - Disney World 2009

Friday, April 10th, 2009 | Misc | 2 Comments

So excited about the fact that my boo & I just found out we were going to Disney World this summer with some people we care about. I haven’t been to Disney since 2000 and Trent has never been. It’s going to be so awesome! Did you know that Disney World is 25,000 square miles? Really! I had to explain to my boyfriend that Disney is not some theme park. Disney is like theme parks within giant themeparks with so much to see and get into, whether you are 4 or 40. It’s going to be a blast.

While devising business cards on Vista Print’s website, I clicked over to the Postcards section. I had no idea that Vista Print printed postcards, but they do, and in two different sizes (standard size and oversized). Vista Print offers various design templates you can use to further customize your post cards. From there you can add your logo and/or your photo. That, or you can upload a premade design from your hard drive for totally personalized business cards.

Of course we will send post cards to our friends while we’re in Orlando, FL this summer visiting Disney World. I would like to snap a separate post card photo for each theme park in Disney that we visit. That, and each day we’d aim to have a different Disney cartoon character sign a postcard each day as a special surprise for some of our friends.
