RAW Minerals Loose Powder Mineral Makeup

RAW Minerals makeup foundationWell into the mineral makeup craze, I am just now really playing around with the stuff. After purchasing Maybelline Mineral Powder liquid foundation and being generally satisfied with the results, I wanted to try mineral makeup in a powder form as most other fanatics are using it. Rummaging through a pile of makeup I’ve been meaning to try, I found a sample of RAW Minerals loose powder mineral makeup in just my shade. I was pretty eager to test it out.

RAW Minerals mineral makeup is now my favorite, favorite foundation! I make sure to prep my face with a good moisturizer and makeup base so that the formula goes on smooth and even, and use a kabuki brush to apply in swirling motions around my face. RAW Minerals is so lightweight, my skin can breathe in summer heat, yet the coverage is awesome, and I really think it makes me glow! I am such a fanatic about this stuff. I don’t think I’ll go back to regular, non-mineral makeup in a long, long time.

Lucky for you, you can try RAW Minerals free for 30 days. If and when you do, come back and let me know what you think!

Yeah, I have to admit, I’ve been using this with my crappy brush or just my fingertips lately and it’s growing on me. I used a better brush with other mineral makeup and think that may be my problem with RAW. I don’t want to recant my SparkleShelf review, but maybe I’ll do a post about the importance of a good brush.

You should do a video tutorial for mineral makeup I think. More interesting than lip gloss. :/

A kabuki-style brush provides better application for powder foundations in general, in my opinion. And, I’ve actually had people request me to do more videos showing the eyeshadows and lip colors I use to go with my skin tone. You seem to be in the minority that thinks lip gloss is boring :)

hmm… I have mixed feelings on this one. The first few times I used it, I loved it. But, the last time I used it.. it’s like it enlarged my pores. I may run out tomorrow and buy a kabuki brush and use it to apply it.

Kia, I love that brush, too! You were raving about it first, then I tried it and I use it with so much stuff…
