Spring/Summer Style: Going Nautical

Casual fashionista Lauren Conrad goes basically nautical in a cute, short white dress with navy blue detail to give an out-at-sea feel. The look is so typically spring, so I figured I’d start out with the basics. Get the look by pairing solid navy on solid white in whichever way you choose to flatter your shape. I would probably go for a satin navy halter top with pants like these white J Brand “Lovestory” bell-bottom jeans (bell-bottoms are back in a big way this season so we’ll be seeing those everywhere). The nautical look can also be acheived by pairing a white/navy striped accessory (perhaps a tote) with basic colors like grey, black, and/or red (patent red peeptoe flats or pumps would be perfectly bold paired with a nautical navy top or very dark-washed blue jeans).

I love that outfit she’s wearing! Great post too, btw! I’ve been wearing pretty much only navy, white, and gray because those are our colors for the season at work. I love the combination though!

Stupid Lauren Conrad is such a tool, but damn it if her outfit isn’t totally hot. I want her bag!

I’m like a child - I can’t wear white or lipstick without messing them up. I can barely handle white tops. I’m a disaster.

The E channel was talking about patent pumps being out and I scoffed at my TV because they do not know what they’re talking about.

same here… im not a type of girl who will wearing this type of dress to do my daily routine, cause maan… i use uniform at work and i better choose jeans or short than dress… cause its kinda windy lately!
but im agree… I WANT HER BAG! lmao
