After my sweets Kia expressed concern that UD Eyeshadow Primer Potion wasn’t blending as well as she liked, I knew I had to do a video, a) to show how I personally blend the stuff and, b) because readers have been asking for more videos and tutorials for a while now. Here goes!

That was so good! Now I want to try that stuff. I just usually use concealer as a base, but I’ve always wanted to try a real base. hmm… I might have to hit up sephora.com tomorrow. :)
you enabler. haha I’ll never get my other cell phone on now. I’ve been spending all my money on shoes and makeup. oops!

hey, are you done with your personal site yet? I wanna see it. :)

I have the same eau démaquillante Lancôme. I love beauty products, specially the Chanel products, they’re just great.
You did such a great job, you’re really gifted and beautiful. I’m jealous. :)

Wow, it’s been a while! I don’t know if you remember me Marsadie but I wondered whatever happened to your old site, I thought you had left the net for good!

Anyway, It’s me Jordan, from Jordansays (about 4 yrs ago).

Glad I found your site, I’m gonna bookmark you. Well, right after I read through some of these lovely beauty tips, of course. :)

I loved that tutorial! I also really liked how you put effort into making the video of it. So many tutorials are done in dirty bathrooms and what not, and somehow it just makes it a bit less credible. There really was a difference in the color of your shadow after using the primer. It was also really nice that you showed two different ways of applying and blending it.

Hi lovely lady! I finally decided to man up and watch your video. My computer is so slow lately, I’ve been afraid to do anything with videos or music. But I toughed this one out. ha. That’s how I apply my shadow, only I’m too lazy to mix brushes and use one cheap shitty one for all of it. I love doing the 3 toned look with Bare Escentuals shimmer dust in Nude Beach, Urban Decay’s Last Call shadow & Too Faced’s Dirt Bag shadow. :)

[...] 1. Use an eyeshadow base. No, I don’t mean a light colored eyeshadow before your regular shadow. I mean a cream-type base that will hold your eyeshadow on all day. My favorite all time eyeshadow base is Soft Ochre Paint Pot by MAC, any paint pot will do though. You need to remember to keep your base a matte finish unless you wish to use a shimmer on your lid. I typically do the Soft Ochre all over, and then if I wish to add a shimmery/colored base to the lid, I do so JUST on the lid, not above it. If you use only a shimmer base, like Bare Study paint pot, your matte eye shadows in your crease will no longer be matte. Some other popular bases are Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP, Marsadie did a review here!) [...]
