What Products Am I Using Right Now?

I saw this tag on one of my favorite beauty Blogspot/YouTube guru’s blogs a bit ago – Lollipop26 – and it seemed fun! I’ll use the same list to share all the products I’m using/loving right now. I would love to see anyone elses!

Hair Products

• Shampoo: I’ve been using Aveda Dry Remedy for months and I’m okay with it.
• Conditioner: Post-shampoo I use Aveda Dry Remedy Conditioner, but when I deep-condition I use a combination of hair masks including Aveda Dry Remedy Masque and Organics Hair Mayonnaise.
• Styling products: On damp hair and before applying heat I coat my strands with Kerastase Ciment Thermique to guard against heat damage. It lasts for a few shampoos! Also, prior to heat I use Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Glossing Polisher (available in drugstores and it is amazing). To set a style I use Tresemme Extra Hold hair spray which never seems to make my hair feel stiff or dry.

Body Products

• Shower Gel: I like scrubbing granules even in my body wash. Plus I like deep moisture! So, I use Dove Nutrium Moisture Gentle Exfoliating body wash which has a nice & light scent.
• Body moisturiser: On damp skin I apply Erno Laszlo Hydra Therapy Bodyskin Cream. You can find it at Nordstrom.
• Deodorant: …Lady Speed Stick?
• Fake Tan: N/A!

Face Products

• Cleanser: To wash away my makeup I use Lancome Gel Clarte for normal/combination skin. In the shower I use Korres Materia Herba toning cleansing foam.
• Exfoliator: Usually Juara Face Scrub or coffee grounds.
• Primer: Right now I’m using Korres Silicone Free Primer.
• Foundation brush: The one Lancome makes…
• Concealer: I’m actually not using a concealer but if I’ll be taking pictures I use Estee Lauder’s Ideal Light illuminating pen.
• Powder: Usually Lancome Dual Finish, which is a staple for me.
• Blusher: Mostly I use MAC Beauty Powder Blush in Feeling. Currently I love Stila Lip & Cheek Stain in Mango Crush.
• Bronzer: N/A!
• Highlighter: I love NARS Albatross highlighting pressed powder.
• Eyeshadow base: I use the tried & true Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
• Eyeshadows: I use them all! Most shadows I love are from Chanel, Lancome, Urban Decay, and sometimes MAC.
• Eyeliner: Liquid – Wet ‘n Wild MegaLiner (a long-time drugstore love of mine). Pencil – Sephora brand. Cream – Stila Smudge Pots.
• Curler: My Revlon eyelash curler is holding up pretty well!
• Mascara: Mmm, L’Oreal Extra Volume Collagen. My fave right now. Sometimes I use Maybelline Lash Stiletto on the tips to add more length.
• Lipstick: The only lipstick I ever use currently is Max Factor’s Rose Rouge. Their lippies wear so comfortably.
• Lipgloss: Oh, geez. Don’t get me started. If I had to name just one…okay, two…I’m reaching for Sephora brand Brilliant Shine gloss in Bronzed Beauty or Stila 24kt gloss in Radiant Sunset.

Nails

• Nail Colour: Anything creamy white OR a dark, vampy eggplant.
